About two week ago, I began a daily microdose that lasted about twelve days. One of the many special gifts mushrooms has to offer, is that it forces you to face your emotions. Our society in many ways, has encouranged humans to supress their emotions, as well as the opposite by clinging onto them. It saddens me when I hear of extremely negative mushroom experiences people have had. I haven't always experienced rainbows and butterflies, but I thankfully have never had a completly horrible experience.
My grandfather is a Vietnam war veteran, who was unfortunately put on the anti-depressant Prozac a few years back. I believe he took it for a couple of years, although i'm not sure the exact number. He has recently started showing signs of early dementia. I ponder on the idea that mushrooms could have been a solution for him, and maybe he wouldn't be showing signs of something that could have possibly been postponed or prevented. Like weed, mushrooms are a holistic medicince that is invertenly being used, as well as disributed.
