When I was younger, my dad told me something that always stuck with me. At the time I didn't understand the extent of how true this statement is, but he said, "the things people hate the most, are the things they hate about themselves." Within the past three years (2020-2023), this has become more and more apparent in my day to day life. I see it on social media, and I see it in the people I encounter. If your opinion is different from someone elses, you seem to automatically transform into a clown, sheep, bigot, or a phobic of some type. If you become triggered by anything, it is because there is something about you that you need to work on.
Then again, when you keep the animals fighting with each other, they will never see there's no fence. We have become divded in what it seems every way possible. We've become so quick to judge others that we fail to see the issues within ourselves. The people who pretend to be inclusive of all, are at times the most exclusive and judgmental. We're quick to call one side brainwashed, yet fail to realize we're falling for the facade while doing so.
