Each of us are unique in our own ways, yet we are all the same. We divide ourselves in ways that are merely illusions. A lot of what we focus on when we think of what makes us different from the next person, are identities we are either born into, or have learned and then identified with. If you're a believer in God, then you know God is a force within everything around us, and especially within ourselves. If you believe in reincarnation, which is undeniably real, then you know that the identity you have in this moment, is finite.
Your identity is really whatever you wish it to be. You are the creator of your own reality, beliefs, and thoughts. The root word of 'identity" is "the same." Even if we create any identity and cling into it, we're all still the same.
